Willow Fire & Security carried out a 6-month fire alarm maintenance service at a residential building in Mitcham, Surrey, as part of a planned fire safety compliance programme. The service included full testing of the fire alarm control panel, inspection of standby batteries and power supplies, and verification of system status and fault monitoring.
All communal manual call points were tested for correct activation and reset, along with smoke detection devices located throughout communal areas and within individual flats. Each device was checked to ensure reliable detection, correct signalling to the control panel, and full system integrity.
Regular six-monthly fire alarm maintenance is essential for meeting British Standards, maintaining life safety systems, and ensuring residents are protected in the event of a fire.
This project demonstrates Willow Fire and Security’s expertise in fire alarm servicing, communal fire alarm testing, and residential fire safety maintenance across Surrey and London.
