Willow Fire and Security carried out a quarterly maintenance check at this block of flats in Croydon South East London. The block comprised of 4 floors each with smoke detector and communal chain actuator door vent, AOV call point and panel.
Each floor was tested to make sure that if the detector detected smoke then the door actuator opened the door to the vent. Also that the AOV window at the top of the shaft opened. The call point on each floor was also tested to make sure this happened if triggered manually.
