Willow Fire & Security carried out bi-annual fire alarm maintenance at a residential block of flats in Lewisham, South East London in line with the requirements of BS 5839-1.
During the visit, all communal manual call points and smoke detection devices were tested to confirm correct activation and system response. The fire alarm control panel was inspected, and standby batteries were checked and tested to ensure capacity remained within acceptable amp-hour (Ah) limits.
All tests were completed successfully, with the system confirmed fully operational and free from faults on completion. The fire alarm system continues to provide reliable protection to communal areas and compliant life safety coverage for residents.
