We were called out to site in South London with a conventional fire alarm system showing a fault showing on zone 2. After carrying out initial checks and found a damaged cable to a high level detector which has been pierced by a 3rd party contractor.
After re running the cable we tested the detector to make sure it was full operational again. Problem solved!
