Willow Fire & Security completed a fire alarm maintenance visit at a block of residential flats in Dartford, Kent, as part of a scheduled servicing programme. The communal fire alarm system was inspected and tested in line with BS 5839-1 requirements.
Works carried out included inspection of the fire alarm control panel, functional testing of manual call points and detectors, verification of sounders, checks of zone configuration, and inspection of mains supply and standby batteries. The system was reset and confirmed to be operating correctly on completion.
The fire alarm system was found to be fully operational and left in normal condition, supporting ongoing compliance with fire safety and managing agent requirements.
