We were contacted by the owner of a pub in Farringdon to take over their fire alarm and emergency lighting maintenance. We carried out a 50% fire alarm service consisting of checking all devices across the site and in the flat above. We also carried out essential checks to the fire alarm panel including battery testing.
We then carried out a 1 hour discharge test on the emergency lights across site to make sure they held the duration on battery backup.
On arrival we discovered that the panel had a power fault which we resolved by replacing 2 x 12v 2.1ah batteries.
Upon completion we left the panel fault free and the emergency lighting system back on with LED’s fully lit.
