Willow Fire & Security were asked to supply and fit CCTV to a property in Bromley after the owners new car was stolen from their driveway. We suggested HikVision’ s new hybrid range as it is able to stay colour at night or use traditional infrared if sufficient lighting for ColorVu isn’t available.
As well as covering the driveway the customer decided to have cameras all around the property. We installed a ColorVu bullet camera on the front covering the driveway and a ColorVu turret covering the other side of the bay windows so that the whole driveway would be captured.
We also used 2 turret cams down both alleys, 2 more at the back along with another bullet cam facing the garden room and one more turret to capture the kitchen side windows area.
All cables were run into the guttering and then into the boiler cupboard in the kitchen where we screwed a lockbox to the wall to house the NVR.
All cameras had motion detection and lights so we configured these to activate when someone came onto the property. We set u p the clients phone for Hik Connect so they could view, playback and see alert notifications from motion detection.
Along with sound these cameras have alarms that can be triggered when human detection is seen.
We used a WiFi 6 booster to piggy back the existing network and allow us a cat connection to the internet.
