We were asked to provide a CCTV for this property in Selsdon covering the front drive, side access and back patio. We suggested HikVision IP CCTV with Acusense NVR. We ran all cables to the loft where we housed the NVR and positioned the cameras to cover all areas. We then set the customers phone with the Hik Connect app so they could view and playback live footage. We turned on the sound recording and enabled 2 way audio so they could speak to anyone who was at the door where the side camera was.
We set motion detection on the cameras and using the Acusense technology which detects humans and vehicles more accurately to cover areas around the 3 cameras. This means the customer is alerted when there is someone on their property even if they are away.
The customer wanted to be able to control the NVR from his bedroom monitor downstairs so we used a 4K KVM switch via cat 6 cable to power HDMI and the USB mouse.
