Willow Fire & Security were called out to look at an AOV window issue at a block of flats in Leatherhead Surrey. The actuator part which opens and closes the window when there is smoke in the building was faulty. The company that maintains the AOV’s were unable to resolve the issue so they left it disconnected from the mains. We ordered a new part and fitted it to the window with brackets. After a few attemps of lining the brackets up and the actuator stopping before the window was fully closed we finally managed to get it fitted nice and straight.
The AOV was tested several times from the manual call point and a job report was sent to the client.
