Willow Fire & Security were called in to replace a damaged actuator on an AOV window at a block of flats in South London. The existing actuator had bent and snapped, and the maintenance company used by the property maintenance company (who called us) were unable to carry out the repair.
As London AOV experts we were happy to step in.
We began by isolating the power and carefully removing the broken actuator from the window bracket. Once the new actuator was securely mounted, we reconnected the wiring and restored power to the system. To ensure full functionality, we tested the unit by opening the window via the manual call point and confirming it closed properly.
